Pisang Peak (6091 m) is the most popular “trekkers peak” located in Annapurna region.Pisang Peak climbing is of medium difficulty, considerable technical and can be perfect choice for beginners, though trekking experience and physical fitness is required. The western flank of Pisang Peak has hanging glacier and encounters a considerable challenge. The western end of the Peak has huge rock slab make some obstacles during our climb to the summit. Pisang Peak still for beginners and a bit technical experience adventure trekkers. The peak rises above the upper Pisang village and Yak grazing meadow in a uniform slope of ice and snow. Pisang Peak climbing in Nepal is famous as one of the most beautiful but slightly technical peak climbing in Nepal among adventure madness.

A scenic 7 – 8 hours drive takes you to trail head Syange a large waterfall right above Marshyandi River. We follow the upstream often crossing suspension bridges and trail leading on both sides of the river. Trek through sub – tropical and tropical dense forest with the awesome wildlife and nature make the trip additional wilderness. The trek leads through typical Tibetan ever-smiling villages to Pisang village right beneath the Pisang Peak in 4 days. We have a day off to be prepared and collect current news about Pisan Peak. We leave the common Annapurna circuit route crossing a wooden bridge to Pisang Peak. Trail follows Upper Pisang and ascends to sparse wood and pasture to a Kharka at 4380 meters which is consider secure place to set up base camp. Ascending to south-west ridge to 5400 meters we set up high camp and summit next morning with sunrise over Tilicho Peak, Gangapurna, Annapurna IV, Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal. After a fascinating view from summit we descent down to Base camp same day and overnight.

We reunite with Annapurna Classical route next day and trek the famous Tibetan settlement Manang. Here is an alternative route via highest lake Tilicho Lake to Throng La (5416 m) and descend down to Pilgrimage beyond the Himalaya Muktinath. Following the down stream of Kali Gandaki river George a deepest in the world with terrific view of Mt Dhaulagiri (white mountain) on the right hand side. Continue walking through warmer green valley and ascending a long climb (1700 m) to Annapurna Sanctuary route. Visit Poon Hill next morning and a true imagination how far we trekked. Follow shorter route descending beautiful Gurung villages bring us to the road and a short drive to Pokhara 200 KM west of Kathmandu.

  • Excess baggage charge( if you have more than 20 kg luggage, cargo charge will be $1 per kg from KTM-LUK flight)
